Maitriveer Nagarjuna was ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in 2006. He is presently working as an Assistant Professor at The EFL National University at Hyderabad. He has been involved with reviving the Dharma and the Buddhist Culture in India, especially through the Training of Youths in the teachings of the Buddha and Dr. Ambedkar, Educational Guidance, and Cultivating the Buddhist artistic movement in India in general.

He is also involved in the upcoming Triratna Project at Bodhgaya - the place where Buddha attained Enlightenment.

Maitriveer Nagarjuna regularly travels to Europe to nourish the bond between East and West through his brothers and sisters in the Triratna Sangha. He also pays yearly visits to Hungary to work among the Roma Community, leading retreats and training them in the teachings of Dr Ambedkar and the Buddha.
